Dr Carlos Castaño

Dr. Castaño specializes in Functional Urology at the Clínica Universitaria del CES in Medellín, Colombia, where he completed his urology residency in 2005. He has led educational projects for the Colombian Urology Society and served as Director of Urodynamics and Incontinence for the Confederation of American Urology (2014-2018).
He is currently part of the Neuro-Urology promotion committee at the International Continence Society (ICS). His focus includes treating functional and anatomical lower urinary tract disorders, incontinence, and urinary retention. Internationally recognized for his work in neuromodulation, he remains active in education, research, and medical publishing.
